Our office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. At weekends and on public holidays the office is closed to visitors, but vehicle handovers and returns still go ahead — the time and the arrangements are confirmed with your booking.
Reach it by car or taxi — it is not within walking distance of the city centre. Outside opening hours, the handover follows the instructions sent with your booking.

Pick your dates, your car and your collection point — agency, cruise port, ferry terminal or airport. Immediate confirmation, no middleman.
Before you travel: the exact address, how to get there, and how the handover works. The deposit can be settled remotely.
Air-conditioned, checked, full tank. Take photos or a short video before driving off — it protects both of us.
Refuel, park where indicated, follow the return instructions. Early-morning and late-night flights are covered too.
Your licence. Martinique is a French department, so EU licences are valid as they are. If you are visiting from outside the EU — Canada, the United States, Brazil — carry an International Driving Permit alongside your national licence.
Driving side and signs. You drive on the right. Road signs, priorities and roundabout rules follow French standards, so the island feels familiar to European drivers within the first ten minutes.
Roads. Main roads are well maintained. The north is narrow and winding — beautiful, slow, and best driven in daylight. Rain showers are brief but heavy; ease off and they pass.
Traffic. The one genuine bottleneck is the ring road around Fort-de-France towards Le Lamentin, between 7–8:30 am and 4–6 pm. Plan around it and the island opens up.
Fuel and parking. Petrol stations are plentiful but many close on Sunday afternoons. In central Fort-de-France, prefer the covered car parks near the waterfront and keep coins for the blue-zone bays.
Balata Botanical Garden — about 20 minutes up the Route de la Trace. Go in the morning, before the cloud settles.
Les Trois-Îlets and Anse Mitan — about 30 minutes by road, or take the ferry from the waterfront and leave the car behind.
Le Diamant — about 40 minutes. The rock, a long open beach, and the wind dropping late in the day.
Saint-Pierre — about 45 minutes along the Caribbean coast. The old capital, its ruins and its black-sand beaches.
Sainte-Anne and Les Salines — about 1 hour. The postcard south; arrive early for shade and space.
Mount Pelée and the north — 1h15 to 1h30 to the trailheads. A full day, and a car you cannot do without.

From Fort-de-France, allow roughly 30 minutes to Les Trois-Îlets, 45 minutes to Saint-Pierre and one hour to Sainte-Anne — easy drives, difficult journeys any other way.
